Jewelry as Interior Decor

Immediately after I took this picture, the nail came out of the cabinet, my jewels crashed to the ground and my favorite one broke. So a word to the wise if you display your jewelry as decor, make sure they're secure.

St. Lucia
In 2006 my lovely parents took my sister and brother and I to the gorgeous island of St. Lucia. It was the best vacation of my life so far. Just a beautiful place. And it sounds so good right now, winter is wearing on me.

Grace Potter
She's awesome. Have you heard her? She and her band, The Nocturnals, play a bluesy brand of rock and roll. Grace's voice is amazing and I really love her style. I saw them play at the Dunegrass Festival in Empire, MI this past summer and I was transfixed. Grace Potter and The Nocturnals
And I think that my level of adoration for Grace may have finally convinced me to cut bangs like hers...opinions?

I haven't posted anything new in a while. I've been at home with my family dealing with the passing of my Gramma. She was a sweet and gentle grandma and a very caring woman. I will miss her deeply.
